Pastor Matthew Christo is currently serving as our interim pastor while our senior pastor is on medical leave.
Pastor Christo's education includes degrees in both Theology and Psychology (M.A., Andrews University, Berrien Springs, Michigan). He has served as church pastor in Trinidad and Tobago and also Michigan and Wisconsin in the United States.
Other experience includes serving as both a school principal and teacher and has accumulated many years of experience as both a psychologist and counselor. He joined Seminole Community College (Sanford, Florida) in November 2005 as Assistant Director of Counseling and currently serves as one of nine members on the By-Laws Task Force of the National Academic Advising Association.
He is married to Janice, his wife, with a marriage spanning over 28 years and together they have three sons: Michael (24), Lee (19), and Joel (17). Pastor Christo believes in physical fitness and in January 2007 he completed the Disney Marathon of 26.2 miles.
